The bee visit.

The bee visit!!

Today Dan the bee man and Kathy came to visit our school. They were teaching us about bees and how they make honey. We learnt that the bees can flap their wings around 200 times per second and that there is about 300 million bees around our area. Then we got to see bees, but they were in a glass container with holes on the side. After that we went to look at the broods we even got to try some honey. When it was done we each got a slice of honey oats with a sticker and some flower seeds to plant at home. It was cool and I learnt heaps about bees and honey.

  1. Great recount, Naidene. I like how you remembered to use the new vocabulary you learned. It sounds like you learned a lot from the bee man visit.
